Dermot Murnaghan is one of Britain's most experienced and versatile broadcasters, with a career spanning four decades across some of the country's most prominent news programmes, including ITV's News at Ten, BBC Breakfast, and Channel 4 News.He now hosts the podcast, Legends of News, interviewing his peers across news about the stories that defined them.

Previously he spent sixteen years as a lead anchor at Sky News, where he hosted Murnaghan on Sunday, his weekly long-form interview shows with the biggest names in British politics. Away from the news desk, he hosted the BBC's beloved quiz show Eggheads for over a decade, demonstrating the range and warmth that makes him equally at home in serious and lighter formats.

His work has been recognised with two of broadcasting's most respected honours: the Television & Radio Industries Club's Newscaster of the Year in 2000, awarded for maintaining a standard above all others, and the Royal Television Society's Interviewer of the Year in 1999 for his interview with Peter Mandelson.
