The Reverend Kate Bottley is a Church of England vicar, bestselling author, and broadcaster whose warmth, wit, and refreshing honesty have made her one of the most beloved and distinctive voices on British television and radio.
Kate first captured the nation's hearts on Channel 4's award-winning Gogglebox in 2014 with a cup of tea in hand. Her humour, common sense, and disarming openness about her life and faith made her an instant favourite. She now co-presents Good Morning Sunday on BBC Radio 2 alongside Jason Mohammad and is a regular face on Songs of Praise, The One Show, This Morning, and Sunday Morning Live. Never one to take herself too seriously, Kate has also appeared on Have I Got News For You, The Wheel, and Celebrity MasterChef, which is all part of her joyful mission to show that vicars are human beings, and can be very good fun indeed.
Her memoir, Have a Little Faith, published in 2023, saw Kate speak candidly about her life, her faith, and what it all means to her and has earned her a devoted readership to match her loyal broadcast audience.
Kate is available for keynotes, panels, and Q&As, and brings the same warmth, humour, and emotional intelligence to the stage, that have made her such a compelling presence on screen. Her signature talk, God and the Gogglebox, takes audiences on a funny, moving, and thought-provoking journey through her road to faith and her philosophy of life, always leaving room for the audience to ask the questions that matter most to them.
