Steve Brown is an athlete, sports commentator, and broadcaster.
In 2005 Steve became paralysed when he fell from a balcony and broke his neck. Soon after he was introduced to wheelchair rugby and in 2012, he captained Great Britain at the London Paralympic Games.
Since then, Steve has established himself as a BBC face and is part of the ensemble presenting line up Escape to the Country and the Travel Show. He also presents the BBC’s coverage of sporting events such as Wimbledon and The London Marathon and The Great North Run.
Steve has further consolidated his sporting credentials taking on hosting duties at The Rio Paralympic Games 2016, The Tokyo Paralympics 2021 and most recently at the Paris Paralympics last summer.
